Yes you can get cramps because your uterus is changing and preparing to get larger to carry the baby but sometimes you could have the possibility of having an ectopic pregnancy and should talk to your doctor just in case. With my first child i had those cramps but everything was just fine and now with my second pregnancy with me being six months pregnant i had some cramping but it was mostly from moving and pulling a muscle in my abdomen. it could also just be gas but you should talk to your ob to make sure. It's better to be safe then sorry.

Yes, it is very possible to have cramping, that is during the implantation of the egg into the uterus. However, you want to be very careful and contact your dr immediately so they can check you to be sure. Just last week I was 6 weeks pregnant, was seen for cramping and found out that it was actually an ectopic pregnancy and I lost the baby. This isn't usually the case, but an ectopic pregnancy can cause death to the mother and will never be a viable pregnancy, so just call your doctor so they can check you and rule it out. Better safe than sorry!

It's actually a sign of pregnancy LOL! Many women assume their cramps are a sign of their period coming on when it's actually the body getting the uterus ready for its new little life!
When cramps are severe and/or there is blood (red blood, not brown blood), it's time to see the doctor immediately. I would actually see the doctor whether the blood was brown or red, but generally brown blood is just the body ridding itself of old blood.

Yes this is normal as long as there isn't any bleeding. Your uterus is stretching to make room for that baby and it feels like menstrual craps. Your muscles are retracting and stretching as well. I have had three kido's and I've had that crampy feeling when pregnant with all three and the pregnancy was fine.

you can get cramps during the first weeks of pregnancy but you're not suppose to.you're only suppose to have a little and not really bad cramps.especially if it never goes away.it could be a sign that something is wrong.that happened to me before and i had a miscarriage shortly after.but just to be on the safe side you should see your family doctor,,just to be safe.

I don't know, but this past week, I've been getting weird on and off again cramps, by my belly button. And I've been really gassy. I'm due this weekend, so we'll find out!
