Just realised Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka is Deputy President
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phumzile_Mlambo-Ngcuka
(excuse my naivity, living so far away from home I though it was still Zuma)
Does this mean that when Mbeki leaves, which I hear is soon, that she will become President if the ANC wins again?

I have no idea whom it's going to be, but if ever Phumzile-Mlambo Ncguka stands a chance, that will be only if the ANC wins the elections.

Quote from this http://www.southafrica.info/features/oreilly-believing.htm site:

The ruling ANC meets in December next year to select a new leader who, in the nature of things, would be expected to succeed to the presidency 18 months later.

I hope it will be Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, rather her than Jacob "take a shower" Zuma... he makes Uncle Bob look like a saint, and Bush like a rocket scientist...
We can only hope and pray... either that or there will be a split in the ANC and then who knows!

Diesel: "IF the ANC wins the elections."

As if the outcome is in any doubt. Doesn't really matter who the next President is (odds are, it's the rapist/embezzler Zuma), the important thing is that the rape of South Africa will continue, regardless.

Apart from the scandals she has been linked to, she seems like a good candidate. But what other politicians don't have any skeletons in their closets? I sure hope she will replace Mbeki. Sorry, if I didn't answer your question. Just thought I'd give my opinion. You rock, girl!
