i am thinking of buying a costume pc, and i wont be able to stretch to 2gb of ram is it possible??

Providing they are the same bus speed then yes. This is not the size of the ram but the speed it runs at. It will say on your existing ram and it will co-inside with the bus speed of the motherboard and CPU. Put the fastest ram stick in the primary slot, that's the one closest to the CPU. Oh one last thing, watch out for static. Open the pc in a room with less static [i.e no carpet ]

the respond is definite and you will possibly have a million.5gb of memory :) if what u say is suitable abuot them being the best same then yup. even nonetheless in the journey that your motherboard basically supported a velocity of ddr 667 and between the memory stick is ddr800 then it relatively is no longer incredibly waiting to study it yet i doubt this is the case because of the fact that its basically 512 mb and 1gb ram we are managing.

if they are of same type(sdram/ddram) and are having same bus speed....
