Those ads are heartbreaking. You know that that sort of stuff really does go on. I give £10 a month to the NSPCC.

Yes, the adverts are horrible......
But we as a community need to be aware that these things go on, don't we...otherwise it will be a taboo again as it was many years ago.
Childline is 20 yrs old this week......this just proves how rife this child neglect and abuse is in our cities. The worst thing is, is that Childline gets NO Government funding at all. Childline and the NSPCC are now merging.................I think they do a fab job but I'm sure we could all do more to help these kids!!!

Do something about it then! become an official NSPCC campaigner - we are currently lobbying Gordon Brown to stump up the cash to fund Childline properly. All you have to do is sign a postcard and send it to him or go to the NSPCC website and do it online. Won't cost you a penny. Put a stop to it. FULL STOP. You can find a link on the Human Rights page of my website - I gave them a free ad and link too.

there is so much povert in this, one of the richest countries in the world. The high rise near where I live has kids that are malnourished and just craving love and affection. Their single mother high on crack and has no money left for the shopping. It is all too common. The adverts do make you think though,.
