Stay off coffee and alcohol - they make it far worse. Keep a bottle of water with you and drink lots of it. Take a natural remedy containing passiflora in half the recommended dose for stress/sleep & provided your not taking alcohol the same day.

You might not want to hear this but exercise helps me deal with the stress. Even taking a walk can help. Try to avoid caffeine as much as possible. Good luck!!

I read recently to avoid drinking tap water may help alleviate that premenstrual stressful feeling, apparently tap water can contain quite high levels of oestrogen. Cut back on the coffee too.

Nowadays, there are many medications that you can to limit the amount of those times of the month in a year. For me, when during those times, I just stay home and try not to see anyone; I just hate to get into unnecessary arguments.

Exercise, whenever you get an irrational feeling or the urge to strangle someone, go for a brisk walk, jog or bike ride.
Just walk somewhere by yourself and think about nice things.
