I heard foot massage cures illnesses. I'd like to do it to myself anytime i want to. On internet there are many websites that teach you how to massage other people's feet...But what is the best way for me to do it to myself?

you could look up reflexology and read books on it with pictures to show you how and what each part of the foot is what.

you can try like this as well:

-wash your feet or take a shower before
-use a foot balm or just regular lotion (preferably something with mint in it because you will feel the menthol going in your skin)
-use your thumbs more when pressing
-take a toe at a time, and start with gently moves, then add more pressure
-massage from top to bottom of toe (or a different part of foot)
-then go to the different parts of your foot and do the same
-put socks on after to keep your feet warm and to feel the relaxation longer (in the heat of your socks)

When my feet are tired and really aching I get two hard small balls (a bit smaller than a tennis ball and made of rubber), and sit down putting one underneath each foot. Then I roll my feet back and forth on them....lovely! Your chair needs to be at the right height so that your feet easily reach the balls when you sit back and relax.

I'm the only one who massages my feet, when others do it feels like they are tickling them. Usually I rub one foot with the other when laying in bed, used to get cramps in my feet and this helped...

in some pharmacies, health food places they have items that might help. one Im thinking of its a little stand with rows of wooden balls and you rub your feet across that while watching tv etc.another is also made of wood and is for back massage but it could be rubbed on feet also the wooden balls give you pressure on those points on your feet to relax you

Try a 20 oz coke bottle filled almost all the way up with either warm or frozen water. Works wonders, roll your feet over them.

Use a wooden foot roller. You can find one online by doing a Google search on "foot roller".
