if it was illegal it wouldnt happen and there is not an age limit but the older you are the more likely your going to get told to get lost i would say ages between 3 (with parents) to 15 is the best ages

It may be frowned upon in Rome, but I think it's legal in the UK. I think the age limit is up to the discretion of the person dispensing the sweets.

Its' not illegal to do it, but apparently you can get an £80 on the spot fine if you do anything untoward- threaten people, use really nasty tricks etc

Can't see why it would be. I'm in Ireland though. There shouldn't be an age limit. I wish more adults would join in and let their hair down.

No it's not illegal, although personally i see it as a form of begging when people give money. when i was a kid you got sweets not money!!!
