My favorite piano piece would be Chopin's Nocutunre in Cminor Op.48 No.1. OMG, thats is like the most beautiful song ever composed in this whole wide world. Try listening to it, the first part starts soft and last part is very rumbunctious but ends quietly and softly. It is so beautiful, everyone should listen to it...

Being a pianist (or trying to be one, anyway), there's a lot to choose from...but I'd have to say Clair de Lune by Claude DeBussy--that is an extremely beautiful and touching piece.
