The Da Vinci Code
The Devil Wears Prada was good, but the book is so much better that the movie was a bit disappointing

A couple of years ago, I saw The Quiet American with Michael Caine. That was good. I missed Prairie Home Companion, but am looking forward to seeing it on DVD.
But why recent movies? How about some classics-- Casablanca, The Third Man, Bringing Up Baby, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, etc.

I've seen nothing which warrants me paying the full price of a film ticket plus any concessions.
However, I saw The Motorcycle Diaries, a Bildungsroman/road film about the coming of age of the young Che Guevara. I was very impressed. So was my wife, she thought it suitable for the children, barring some cursing in Argentinian Spanish.
