Well this depends on why you're buying the car. If you want something economical then buy a Cobalt or an Aveo. If you have a family buy a Malibu or an Impala. If you have a lot of money and want a sports car buy a Corvette. You need to be more specific here.

The big thing is how do you define "best" in your question, or "Chevy"? For best, do you mean most reliable, highest performance or most capable for a certain purpose? For Chevy, do you mean the best car that has a Chevy badge on it, or the best car with a Chevy engine in it? For example, in the '80s the front wheel drive Chevy Novas were really Toyotas with a Chevy badge on them. I'm not sure, but I think it was the Corolla. Also, the Pontiac Vibe is actually a Toyota Matrix, and Chevy Aveo may also be. I haven't gone to the dealership and checked for myself yet, but they look similar enough that it is a possibility. This is actually a common theme for car-makers, and they have been doing it for years. The Mazda B series pickups are Rangers, the Geo cars were all Toyota and Suzuki, The Chrysler Crossfire is a Mercedes, etc. If you are just looking for the most reliable car, as far as I know the Toyota built Chevy cars are still slightly more reliable than the actual Chevy built ones, but the quality levels are getting closer. I'm not sure if this is the kind of answer you were looking for, but I hope it helps.

NONE!!!! Research GM and you figure out which one you WON'T have any problems with and let me know. My Chevy Equinox is a lemon and GM keeps making new cars with the SAME old problems. I wouldn't get a Chevy ever, ever, ever again. Save yourself some heartache and hurt.
