I think there should be a Republican and a Democrat in office for balance. How do you feel about it? I thin k the candidates running would dewcide who would be pres and who would be V.P.

Imagine having a mother and father that always fundamentally disagreed about everything...see the problem?

I would vote for Kerry, McCain or Powel. At least they are not a draft dodgers like Bush and Cheney. They are not Cowards.
I also am sure we will have a Democratic controlled Congress and that Democrats will investigate Bush and Cheney for the next two years. Democrats even have a really good shot at Impeachment.
Since Impeachment charges have already been filed in court.
BTW, Congress has never in this nations history worked less than now under republicans. They now work only two days per week. They get paid $165,000 and spend most of there time trying to raise money for the next elections. It would be new and different if we could get them to actually work for a living not just suck the tax payers dry.

No because we couldn't get anything done. We cant anyway cause you have the right and the left battling it out, staying on their party side of the isle and no one is willing to compromise.

Its called checks and balances. That is why the House and Senate are key in keeping America in the middle so to speak. A President has certain powers, and the rest are given to him threw congress. When Congress is controlled by the party not in power, nothing gets done. When Congress meets, nothing gets done. When a Bill is needed and these elected officials put all kinds of riders on the Bill, the President veto's it and nothing gets done.

We need to get rid of the professional Politicians we have in DC and put real, down to earth, lets do whats right for America people in their place.

But that will never happen as the politicians know that we Americans as a group, cant agree on anything, so, the chance of a real majority getting mad and standing up to them, is very, very slim

Interesting idea. It would never work though. What we need is someone who can see both sides, and force Congress and the Senate to work for the good of all Americans. We need a true moderate.

That used to be the way it operated. The President would be the winner of the election and the loser became the Vice-President.

I guess they realized that nothing got done that way!

Political parties are merely an ILLUSION, because THIS secret and evil group has been in control of everything for far too long!...
