Well, my life was always pretty settled and kind of boring until this last year. In November of last year, I was kidnapped, raped and tortured and nearly died. Even worse was that it was someone I knew, and worst of all is that he was not convicted of it, and I had to pick up and leave my hometown for fear he would try to come back and finish the job. I had to move all the way across the U.S. and start my life over in a strange town with no friends or family. I was scared to death at first, but now I have decided that I am exactly where I need to be right at this time in my life. I'm not glad for what happened to me, but I AM glad to be where I am. I have discovered opportunites and experiences that I would never have had if I hadn't moved here. I guess you could say I really DID find a silver lining in a very dark cloud.......

Yes! After raising my daughter alone and her joining the military,I had everything set to quit my full time job and just work at my part time job the rest of my life. Little did I know that I would be helping raise a granddaughter and become disabled in less than a year after she was born while her mother was in Iraq. Still both apply still today in my case. I have learned that if God and life has other plans for you that it's best to just except it.

As someone who has felt life liked to play jokes on her, yes life has taken me somewhere unexpected. It has taken me (finally) to a place I can be at peace and just be happy. I have finally got a family who loves me (3 children) and a amazing man who I never would have imagined finding.... :)

Yes, I used to dream of being a doctor as a kid ... but couldn't clear the Medical entrance exams. To my utter surprise, I got fairly good rank in Engineering entrance exams. Believe me or not, I had never ever dreamt of being an engineer in future... but now I'm studying it. Don't know how many surprises 're still waiting for me !!!

Yes I've experienced death I didnt expect to happen so soon I do believe life will take me to places I cant begin to imagine. I just have to deal with it as it comes.
