Part of active volcanic island and there is a fissure that with the activity from the island that part of the land mass may fall into the Atlantic and cause a tsunami wave that will affect the East Coast of the US - I thought I seen this on either Discovery or TLC HELP

Yes, the Canary islands are a good choice, but also the Azores.

La Palma is the one they are all talking about. It has the start of a fissure that would release about a third of the mountain if it does go. This mass of rock would slide into the sea pushing a tsunami towards the States.

Since it is off the coast of Morrocco it would have a long way to travel before it hit the East Coast. Such a tsunami would only affect the immediate coastal areas though.

Perhaps you should worry more about Yellow Stone which is a super volcanoe. If that goes it will not only devestate the whole of North America but probably the entire world!
