If we dont log in a hotmail account, for how many days will it be closed? 30 or 60 days? How can we know if a friend's hotmail account is closed or not?

90 days. If your friend's hotmail account is closed, then mails sent to the same will bounce back to the sender

No its not like that . If u dont use Hotmail for 30 days it get closed.
but u can just go and activate it. that simple.
1 more thing it wont be closed . it just needs to activated. So Ur mail will be send

Although you can re-activate your account once it is closed, ALL YOUR IMPORTANT MAIL WILL BE LOST!!!!
This is really irresponsible and is a good reason to start using some service that respects the clients, such as gmail or yahoo mail.
