Are you one of these right wing capitalists who go on about the "nanny state" and now substitute patriarchal to make yourself sound smart? The welfare system is a poverty trap - and the new Welfare reform Bill when it becomes law will have women suffering from post natal depression being forced to go to "work related" interviews with girlies just out of school and getting their benefits cut if they happen to be unable to attend - possibly because they have been sectioned under the mental health Act.
