...would you believe they know ANYTHING about the opposite sex?

If they knew all about the opposite sex why are there four documented instances where they failed at relationships with the opposite sex. The most they can claim they know is what NOT TO DO! But everyone is entitled to his or her opinion so I would politly listen but judge for myself whether to take their advise.

They know nothing about the opposite sex. Listen to someone who has been married for several years...like 20... THAT person knows about the opposite sex. AND I bet he/she has some great insights about life in general as well...

Obviously they don't know ANYTHING about the opposite sex, 4 marriages, and they still can't get it right. The opposite sex will always be a mystery. (Male or female).We probably will NEVER know all there is to know.

From my experience, they know nothing. When I was still single and dating, the older I got, the more divorced men I met. Some had been divorced 1,2, or 3 times. A couple of them had the nerve to ask what was "wrong" with ME because I had never been married at all! My retort was "maybe I should ask your ex wife/wives what is wrong with YOU". My bf now, is divorced, but he doesn't claim to know all about women, quite the opposite.

I don't see how they would know all about the opposite sex whether they have been married once or a dozen times !!!

I would say that they probably know all the wrong things if anything at all. Of course, it could be that this person is just selfish and unable to have a happy, healthy relationship. After all, who wants to be with a know-it-all!
