Yes the taps and shower heads are water-saving devices.
I agree, every country should have them installed in all accommodations.
The planet has a water shortage not just drought-stricken nations.

No they don't save water. It's just the filter(Gauze) on the end of the tap

I have one in my kitchen you can easily get them in the UK but i don't think they save water .

I also put one on my kitchen tap. They dont save water, just aerate it.

Technically if I was living in the US where they have them there I'd still fill my bath to the levels I wanted so I'd say no. In fact it would just take longer.

Its on free flow, as opposed to over here where its pressurised
