I've never missed an election..I always vote..but NOT now and I'll tell you why.
Because I'm sick and tired of Politicans who campaign from the right...then govern from the left.
Here in Ohio our governor might as well be a liberal yet he claims to be a republican.
DEBT...we used to be the party of finacial responsiblity...not anymore, the debt is soaring!
I'm done.....if I vote again it will be for the libertarians

I agree with everything you stated, but I'm still voting, and I hope you will too. Here is why. You do seem to consider yourself a Republican, at least from a theoretical standpoint. So I will assume for a moment that you would vote republican if you had a reason to. How about this: If the dems gain control of the house, the next two years will be only about one thing and that is impeach Bush and investigate Republicans, and boy will the MSM ever be happy. And the Republicans most in the crosshairs will be the most conservative ones. They have no reason to drive the RINO's out. If they gain control of the Senate, we can kiss goodbye all possibilities of having another conservative SC justice. And any other conservative judge anywhere in the court system. What we will have is two years of no confirmations, and then if the libs win the whitehouse in 08, due to the constant coverage of impeachment by the MSM, we will have the largest influx of activist judges since FDR. And we will then have more Ruth Buzzie Ginsbergs appointed to the SC to sit on the bench and tell us how to live our miserable lives for the next 30 years.
And please don't throw your vote away with a third party vote. You might as well hand the gavel to Nancy Pelosi - which is about as scary a thought as I can think of this halloween

I know how fustrating it can be to see a canidate get in and not do as you expect him to do. However remember that in elections there is more at stake then just voting for a person to do a crumbing job running an office. There are also issues that are being put to the pole issues that you might want to put your two cent in or in this case vote.
Gambling or no gamgling in Ohio?
Smoking or no smoking?
When you hit that booth you don't need to vote for a person but for goodness sake let your opionion on the other things be known.

Show your displeasure with the parties campaigns and the goverment handling your business by voting. It's the only way. You could try voting for the least likely candidate to win if that's what you want to do.
Start with your local officials.'

If you choose not to vote you have no right to complain about how the country is lead! Exercise your right to vote. After all, when the African government opened the polls years ago, people walked over 100 miles to exercise THEIR right. We only have to drive short distances or walk a few steps......TAKE THE TIME, PLEASE VOTE!

Don't even bother voting ever again. Bush and other presidents are elected ONLY by THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...

Apparently, you aren't a veteran either, or else you'd cherish the opportunity you have been given to choose your government.
