Routing the tile that is running from the pump into my yard and running it to a storm drain is not possible at the moment.Anybody have a problem like this that they were somehow to fix so it wasnt so bothersome.I hate walking through flooded wet grass.

when i did basement waterproofing, we pumped all the water to a "dry-well". it's nothing more than a large hole dug preferably down slope of the house, where the sump pipe is run into. next you need to backfill with peagravel about halfway, cover the gravel with plastic , then backfill the rest with soil. our dimesions for the hole were 6x6x6 but i don't think you need such large well to do the job.if your ground conditions don't accomidate such digging then running the pipe to the street is really your only option, with city approval of coarse.

You need to extend your pipe. We dug a trench in the grass all the way out to the street, buried the pipe. You never see the water flowing until it comes out on to the street. No pipes in the way and no more wet grass.

I had to extend my pipe using 2 sections of that flexible downspout extension you buy at Home Depot, etc......it helped my pump not to come on so often because it carried the water farther away from the foundation.
