With my first son, I had those on again off again cramps that were apparantly my baby making a home in my uterus wall. But I've heard that you can "feel" that you're pregnant from other signs, like being a weird kind of gassy? Or dizzy? Please, share your stories! How did you feel in your early pregnancy?

I have three children. It's a bit strange but I just "knew" I was pregnant with each of them. Usually, about two weeks after I had missed my period I started having "symptoms".
My kids are all in their 30's so there weren't any "pregnancy" kits available back then. I always got that "icky" feeling in my stomach, and I was really tired.
With my first son I wasn't sure I was pregnant because I spotted and thought it was my period. I even went to the doctor for a test and they told me I wasn't pregnant. But I knew how I felt so I waited a couple weeks and went back. They redid the test and "surprise", I was pregnant.
I didn't wear maternity clothes until my 7th month with my 1st son, he was 7 lbs. I had major morning sickness for about 3 weeks in my early pregnancy, I felt great after that.
With my 2nd son I had to wear maternity clothes at the end of my 3rd month. I gained 30 lbs. with him and he weighed 10.3 lbs.
I had minor morning sickness and major heartburn the last month or so.
With my last pregnancy, I never showed until my 7th month and think I only gained about 12 lbs. My daughter weighed 8lbs. 2 oz. when she was born. I had minor morning sickness with her. Towards the last month she must have been pressing on my siatic(?) nerve because my leg bothered me.
I guess everyone is different, that's just my experience! Basically I had almost no problems and I enjoyed being pregnant. If my husband had wanted more kids I would have been happy to do it again!

I've been trying to concieve since December of last year. This past week, I've been gassy and getting this weird on and off again cramps near my belly button. Not sure if that means I'm pregnant or not, but I sure am hoping! :)

I was 40 and I was told that my shop was closed. I was tired all day long and just could not focus on much. I had just read Love Story and decided that I was dying of leukemia. Went to the dr. to find out I was going to have a baby. He is 34 now and I sure am glad I was being a drama queen and had him instead of leukemia.

I felt tired and sleppy all the time,I thought I was anemic. Also, my nails were breaking and I have pretty strong nails, so it wasn't common for me to have a broken nail. Also this hot flashes at night that used to drive me crazy (still do). Also I started to put lemmon on everything but I truly never thought I was pg. I was just thinking it was something else. Plus I was having cramps so I thought my period was coming...4 days after missing my period took the test and it was positive!!

I was told I couldn't have children, so I was shocked. I was exhausted, I was standing on the bus stop talking to a friend that already had children and I couldn't keep my eyes open. I was going to sleep standing up and she was the one who suggested I take a test. He is three now!

WITH MY OLDEST I HAD NO CLUE TILL I WAS ABOUT 5 OR 6 WEEKS ALONG. BUT WITH MY 2ND SON I JUST FELT DIFFERENT. I CAN'T REALLY EXPLAIN HOW, JUST LIKE SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT. AND HIS DAD TOLD ME I WAS PREGNANT BEFORE WE EVEN FOUND OUT, AND HE SAID IT WOULD BE A BOY. WITH MY DAUGHTER I WAS SICK FROM DAY ONE. I WASN'T EVEN LATE YET. AND I FELT FUNNY ALL THE TIME. I TOOK A TEST AND BEFORE I WAS EVEN DONE PEEING ON IT , IT ALREADY HAD A DARK LINE.

i dunno for shure but today i am goin to take a test and find out if im pregnant..i feel nausious and i missed ma period TWICE! im not showing nething but ma boobs are a little sore around the nipple area and they fit into ma bras more! so wish me luck or sumdin...but im only 20 sooooo if i am its gonna be hard to break the news to ma mom and boyfriend
