I don't think "white" skin became available until people started drifting from the "cradle of humanity". As they migrated to the north, and protection from the sun was not as necessary, pigment levels naturally fell. I think Adam was made from the dust of the earth, NOT plaster of paris...

No - mist likely had mid brown skin.
There is only one skin colour - brown. Determined by the amount of melanin in your skin. People with very dark or light skin have less genetic variability. Check out below.
