I think that this was just a fantastic movie and a lot of that had to do with the acting. I thought that Kilmer portrayed Morrison to a tee. There was a feeling like you were watching Jim Morrison himself! I think he was great and Morrison was the best!! Also, just for thought does anyone believe that Morrison is still alive? I don't.

Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison...wonderful performance. Not an easy accomplishment. The manurisms, the look, pure committement to character! I believed Kilmer was Morrison; in some strangely odd way. He was hot too! (as Morrison) --yes, he's attractive as himself as well, but there was just something about his performance as Morrison. Perhaps Morrison "guided" him through....

I think Val Kilmer did a wonderful job portraying the late Jim Morrison. For those of us who never had the opportunity of seeing the Doors when they were together, this movie let you. As you watched it, it felt as though you were there with them watching their every move.

I think Denis Leary said it best "I'm drunk, I'm no one, I'm drunk, I'm famous, I'm drunk, I'm f******g dead."
