You can connect the two together using a SCART cable - or in my case I use the UHF output from the video, into the DVD and I have a channel on the DVD recorder tuned to the Video.

Press play on the video and record on the DVB.

This might not work with Macrovision protected vidoes - in which case, get an older VCR (pre-macrovision)

Get a VHS and DVD recorder built into one device. There are loads out there.

It would be just like having two vcr's connected to each other. You would have to play from the source, (the vcr) and record to your dvdr.

It works I have done it plenty of times.

Cant be done with out a pc, you've got 2 different formats VHS magnetic tape, DVD digital

Get a combi player or scart them together.
