Well- there could be a slight problem here. If the product was wrapped and sealed in cellophane in the normal box with a price ticket on the outside then they could get shitty.
I work in the perfumery and cosmetics dept of a large store and generally tester/ demonstration bottles are sealed in plain white boxes if at all.
Thats not to say the product you bought wasnt a tester (DKNY perfume come in normal boxes and so does trilogy skincare).

Generally they should exchange it for a bottle that does not say tester, demonstration, not for resale, factice or dummy.

Any problems- get a manager who will know all of this already!

Good luck.

don't know where you are but in Britain it's actually against the law to sell testers.i work in boots the chemist and some perfumes do come in,in the proper packaging with "tester" written in tiny letters,so it could be that someone put it on the shelf by mistake.take it back and they will change it for you.why do you want your money back?i don't get it.

It depends on where you bought it - if it was a discounted purfume shop then you need to check for any signs that mention testers being resold - if it was an ordinary shop then yes you can certainly take it back - either way it's worth taking it back and getting it sorted out.
