Most definitely! I hate to write. But I think if I did, I would come up with some good stuff. Laziness is crippling!

Just because you have thoughts, doesn't mean you want to record them on paper or database. So, yes, it is possible to hate writing-even though you think a lot.

Sure it is. thinking and writing aren't the same thing. I can think all day, but that's not what I write about.
A famous author, can't remember his name, said: I hate writing, but when I'm done there is no better feeling." Sort of a have to have been there thing to understand it fully.
Authors come up with endless ways to make themselves sit down and write, coming up with phrases to describe this unbearable torture mostly quoted to newbies, but when they're done they sigh deeply and say 'man, I could do this till the day I die.'
Weird bunch writers.

yes. Try typing if you mean the physical act of writing with pen and paper. I suffer from writer's cramp all the time so I type everything.

yes it is. not every one that thinks a lot ends up a writer or even likes writing

Many people do, although I'm not one. They are paralyzed by a pen/pencil the same way some people are when they speak in certain situations. It's what makes us all different.
