THE LAW says that Rememberance Day is observed on the day that it falls. There are no ways to celebrate Rememberance day on any other day, and if it falls on a Saturday, the Holiday act of Canada says that that day will be the observed day.

To note: Remembrance day is not A STAT holiday in Ontario and Quebec, it's a public Holiday, and as a result, no overtime need be paid and no day off in exchange has to be given.

Depends on the employer. Here in NS in the educational domain, we are getting friday off. Back home in Quebec, I never got a holiday for Remeberance day.
