Photo on ipod video in bad quality?

I copied some photos to my ipod video,but from those which had jpeg file format just a few were copied OK, a lot with errors,and some were not copied at all...I tried to resize them, with the same result...The bmp-s were OK,all of them...Is there something with the jpeg-s?...The digital cameras usually do jpeg,so I miss something?

Do you have a Mac? If so, you should be able to upload your photos using iPhoto. It is a seamless operation.
