they are mainly there to make sure the shirt stays on the hanger and tokeep in up in a "good looking" positions in the department stores. but depending on the color of them a lot of girls use them to help keep the shirt in place while wearing it. mostly if the straps are clear but if they are black with a black or dark colored shirt they do that too it looks just like a bra strap.

to hook on the hanger so that ur shirt wont slip off and fall in the floor. some shirts are made out of a fabric that just wont stay so the straps are looped around the head of the hanger or hooked to the little hooks on the inside or top of hanger to make sure the shirt stays put after u hang it up.

Really, the only time Wiccans generally wear robes is in a coven setting, and even then usually the group provides the robes. There are solitaries who wear them, but most of the time, solitiaries go with street clothes as opposed to any "formal" attire. Any robe or cloak you wear can be found or made easily. WHEN, I was Wiccan (and thought I needed one), I bought a cloak during Halloween at Wal-Mart for far cheaper than you would online. The bottom line though, Wicca isn't about obtaining THINGS for practice. Wicca is a religion, focusing on deities, not what you can get. When you focus on buying this trinket or that, you cheapen the religion.

Those are hanger straps. I have them on a bunch of my shirts that aren't exactly hanger friendly.

They are to hang it up on those little hooks that are attached to the hanger, to help the shirt from falling off. If you don't hang your shirts up, you can cut them off, because i know they bother me!
