Why not just drive the car the way it was made to be driven?

I wouldn't let it "bog" down the engine when you do it but, no it generally does not matter. I sometimes get lazy like that and don't wanna shift constantly so I skip a gear every once in a while.

Their is no real reason to skip gears. But if the rpm`s are up high enough when you shift, it won`t hurt anything. If not the engine will bog, and cause an undue work load on the engine.

he's genuine on all money owed. in actuality, some much less gas-powerful autos have helpful properties geared up into them that forces the driving force to bypass gears while no longer using heavily. it incredibly is an incredible thank you to get extra gas economic device, and has certainly no undesirable effect on the vehicle till he shifts way too low, which could take place with any kit.

Yes, it can. It is possible to 'carbon up' the cylinders because of the extra stress without the rev's. (This will score the rings and cylinder wall and in time lose compression and leak oil). ps. you will never will never win this one, been there myself. It will cost less in the long run to replace the car and keep the wife!

it may cause slight effect on the clutch system on the long run,so do as the other poeple answered : push the gas a little more to raise the RPM pefore shifting'n'skipping to the next gear

No...just make sure you have enough RPM's so you don't put stress on your clutch. I assume you are skipping them due to high RPM's....or coming down from 5th to 3rd due to a light or something....I try to match the RPM's with the gear on down shifting.

Doesn't matter.
Just make sure you have enough speed to get "comfortably" into the next gear.
I have a six speed that I shift like a 3 speed.(2,4,6), unless I want to smoke someone.
