The political parties have a great potential to create havoc, but they don't.

NAACP, the KKK, Rainbow Coalition, and other similar groups are all about hate and creating social tension and preventing any real progress. They use their agendas as a wedge to keep the social groups divided, not to bring them together, there is no money in it for them if everyone is happy together.

NAMBLA is just a bunch of pedophiles with a political agenda & connections.

The ACLU is the most insideous, damage causing group with an agenda that is clearly anti-American. They have convinced people that they are out to help, but they are not only out to serve their own agenda, that agenda is the voiding of our constitution and writing a new one, written to further their cause.

Their cause has nothing to do with civil liberties, it has to do with social justice, the implementation of which is unjust to much of society. They are an organization founded upon, and who are proponents of, communism through social activism.

1- Those who are spending hard earned tax dollars on their overzealous ambitions. Those who elected and supported those member of congress and speakers who have resigned for financial frauds and campaign finance frauds.
2- Those who supported and hide the acts of child molesters.
3- Those who argued that price of oil is set by market demand when oil was 3 dollars a barrel and drop the price overnight when election was few weeks away.
4- Those who in the name of tax cuts gave major benefit to few wealthy and refuse to provide health and education to needy in our own country.
5- Those who shipped manufacturing jobs to India and China where they are partners in big corporations and reaping the benefits of low wage labor while at home people in states like Ohio and Detroit are losing jobs and having foreclosures.
6- Those who took our hard earned human rights and personal privacy in the name of checking on bad guys but let Venezuelian firms to mess with voting machines so easily.
7- Those who won two elections in the name of securtiy but did nothing to protect borders and ports.
8- Those who protect and support Bigots who call people " Maccaca" and N word.
9- Those refused to be accountable to their own controlled congress and senate and support dictators in Kuwait, Qatar and Libya.
10- Those who lied to the whole nation about WMD, thousands of soldier died, in a war about which they too arogant to accept that its a mess and provides no security or benefit to americans.
11- Those who tarnished our image as leader of human rights and free world leader and made whole world ( except few isolated countries) against us where Chinese Communist are now considered more reliable.

The Right wing whackos think Gay Marriage is the number one issue in America. As a Christian, I think they are wrong. The number one issue in America is far from a small number of Gay men who want to get married.
We have a $9 trillion national debt under Republicans. Government has grown bigger not smaller under Republicans. We are not safer now. Sept. 11th. was the greatest failure in the History of our Country to protect Americans, under Republicans who failed at the job. The Iraq war will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over ten years. We have over 30,000 wounded and over 2814 dead, 100 this month alone, Iraq is in civil war now. In Iraq between 450,000 and 650,000 civilians are dead.
They are in fact "liberated".
Bush and republicans rejected the Kyoto treaty. Now Blair hires Al Gore as a adviser on Global warming and predicts a Economic disaster costing our economy 5 percent of GDP and sending us into depression like the 1930s. I think we have bigger issues than Gay Marriage to deal with.
BTW, The ACLU is about Constitutional freedom. Republicans love to trash it, except when they defend Republicans rights in the "Bill of Rights". If you recall they defended Rush when he was charged with Doctor shopping for his Drugs. There are many other Republicans the ACLU has defended.
