French manicure was a two-year boom, but I see less and less of it in my school and around town. Does anyone know what kind of manicure is in fashion this season?

The darkest polish is glam! If you use dark polish, it is best to have it done by a professional. Because little mistakes will be very noticeable. Also, make sure that you have your nails files short and round. Nails should be shorter than your fingertip and should also follow the natural shape of the cuticle. Some brands and colors to try are Rimmel in Black Satin, Chanel in Black Satin, CoverGirl in Midnight Magic, Avon in Bordeaux Velvet, Sally Hansen in Garnet, and O.P.I in Lincoln Park After Dark. I have used the O.P.I color and it is more like a deep purple instead of black. I hope this helps get your nails in style.

short black nails...or if you don't like black..real dark. like a dark purple! it looks awesome..but only on short nails
