Hence it makes it difficult to find lesson plans online as everything is gradewise. I feel that even kindergarten lesson plans are a little high for her.
Please let me know asap.

5 yrs old...that usually kindergarten...depending on how late in the year her birthday is. If she's a Sept thru Dec. baby, then she may also be considered 1st grade. I would start with Kindergarten level first and then work up from there to 1st grade based on her ability

At 5 yrs. of age she should be in kindergarten. If she is more advanced , as in reading abilities, you should look for 1st grade lesson plans.

If her birthday is after nov.1st she should be in kindergarten(german for garden of children) If she's ahead of herself intellectually(like you indians are ususally) put her in first. Kinderg ten- is really a half day for kids to interact if she's not socially dull or a loner and likes learning real knowledge 1st grade.

Technically she should be in Prep (year before grade 1 and after kinder), but just put her in kinder if you believe that is the right thing to do!
