I keep trying to call my friend's cellphone...it's an alltel cellphone. But it will ring four times and instead of going to their voice mail, it then gives a busy signal. Does anyone know what this means??

They have blocked your calls. They didn't pay their bill. They don't have call waiting, and it really is busy, or they are on three way calling. To be honest; I don't know the truth, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night! Good Luck!!!

it means that he or she has not set up her/his ignore call to go to the voicmail box. in other words if they are busy when you call then they push the ignore button on there phone so that it stops ringing. whne this is done they are suppose to be forwarded to the mail box but if she never initially set the box up then the call will just go busy. tell her/him to set up her message box and if you dont know how call customer service and they will walk her/him through it

that happened to me once, although not the same phone. But someone suggested to remove the battery, and put it back in. It may just be the phone. I'd take it in to be checked out.

my wifes phone does that sometimes. it funny. try this: if it rings 4 times in 4 calls its just wierd but if it ring diff each time she puttin the phone down on you.....

check cli activation on your phone('send caller id' option ). or maybe she's activated call barring to some extent. are you sure she wants you to call you?
