Looks like currently the cheapest AMG available now is the E63 at 85K. There used to be a C-class in the AMG line but I guess there waiting for the '08 model year to release a new one.

The SLK55 is the cheapest AMG model. The C-Class will be out next year, it is being redesigned. A friend of mine owns the SLK55 and believe me for a tiny car, it MOVES. All the other AMG models are $80,000+

The SLK 55 AMG can be had for around 65K. I have one, so look around for a dealer that is willing to deal on the 2006 models still in stock.
