We've had them going off for the last 2 weeks around our street and by the time that Nov 5th gets here I'll be well and truely sick of them.Not only that,but my dog's been going crazy everytime they've gone off so I'm tempted to say yes.
But then again we should be allowed to have them for special occasions ie.New Year's Eve and it does seem that it's only really around Nov' 5th that kids seem to be letting them off all the time.

Yes, they should only be available for 4 days on the run up to Nov 5th and maybe new year, i'm sick of them already too.
There was supposed to be a law to stop people setting them off so late at night but i doubt anyone has been arrested.

Fireworks should be regulated the same as commercial explosives or firearms and so should not be on sale to the general public.
They cause injuries to humans and frighten animals and people alike.
You cannot buy gelegnite but firworks can cause the same ammount of damage in the wrong hands.

You should never use fireworks around animals. Studies have proven that fireworks make an animal more scared and more vicious. When ever they hear a loud noise after that, that will try to bite someone or do something destructive. It also hurts their ears because they have great hearing.

YES one night only, when I was growing up in the 50s there was none of the endless noise night after night, It was a family and friends night we all looked forward to it for weeks.

They are something that cannot be policed and different religious dates for different religions like using them, along with people getting married now. I don't think it could be limited to one night a year.

i think fireworks should be used for new year and 5th nov!!and i think that they should only be used at big functions and not at home..there are too many risks when fireworks are used at home..not good if kids and pets are around either!!
