I'm a mother of three grown children. I do not think 14 is too old to trick or treat. My kids dressed up and went out until they were around 16. I hope you got to go out tonight.

I think 14 is the year children should do their last trick-or-treating.
They should wear an age appropriate costume and do their thing for the last time.

I was 11 the last time I went.
My nephew is 11 and has already said that if he goes at all this year, it's for the last time.
So I guess 14 is too old.

Since many 14 year olds can be the size of full grown adults, it would kind of freak me out to have someone over 5 feet and wearing a costume at my door, so, YES, 14 is too old.

I don't think so, my teenagers trick or treat and I see other teenagers doing it. Who doesn't enjoy dressing up and getting candy? Beats doing things that can get you arrested instead.

well thats what mom is suppose to decide.some moms let thier child date at 14,in that case, yes too old.
