You know that you can keep the memory of them without looking at a piece of jewellery dont you? If the situation occurs one day, let the ashes go outside. Or let them be buried at a nice cementory rather than keepin the ashed on your body. That is sick, I think.

Google it - the company is called Life Gem or something like that. I considered it with my father's ashes but decided against it in the end. I think is was about £3,000. Certainly only specialists do it - probably only one company in the UK. The diamond you get is not a sparkly white stone, you know, its, i believe, a sort of duller yellowish stone but still nice.
I don't think the idea is sick at all.
But cherish your parents while they are still alive. My father died just over a year ago, and until it happens to you, you just cant understand the grief.

I don't think anyone could be closer to their mother than I was. My wife said that my mom was more of a mother to her than her on mother. When she died 8 years ago I was devastated for years after. Kept looking at the picture I had of her in our living room and thought about her all the time. I slipped into a depression which I only recently got out of.
So beware that hanging a piece of jewelery on you won't be a sad constant reminder. If it will be a happy one then it's an awesome idea. If not just bury the ashes and let them go. Hanging with some people is not good. For me it wasn't.

I seen a programme about this on the tv and i can remember that it was in the thousands as it is something new over here but i think it is a really good idea and the diamonds look lovely so it would be a nice reminder of them both.

I don't know of any jeweller who does this, however I am sure there is someone willing to do it. I find this very odd, it's almost like carrying a dead person around with you, aren't memories enough ? Let them be free.

I think it's only specialists who can do this. I would suggest you try a google search, it's bound to throw up some useful information for you.

"Dust thou wert and dust thou should return". I suggest you strew the ashes of the dead and gone into rivers, sea and gardens. Let them mingle with the five elements of nature.

it would probably cost you a bomb.
what do your parents think about becoming a trinket.
I'm not sure that having there remains with you through-out your live, after they have gone will be healthy for you.
some times its better to let go.

There are speciality companies which have been advertising this, and I think it's like $20,000 and up for a ring, for example.
