In the matrix they had the quick and easy way... just shove the metal rod in the back of your head and ask for helicopter lessons. Perhaps down the road some group of neuro-scientists will figure out how to interface the brain's memory lobes with computer software. They already have mini video cameras they can put inside the eyeballs of blind people and hook them up to the optic nerve so the blind can see again. It isn't perfect... the patients that have done trials of it so far have said they can only see blocks of color in a very limited palette but its still a huge improvement and the technology is only in its infancy.

The human brain is doing just that every second of the day. Assimilating what your nervous, respiratory, circulatory, musculature etc systems are telling it, processing new sights , sounds and smells. Evaluating emotional ( fight or flight) responses as well and all that from our lizard brain!
The thinking brain, the cortex is busy firing off , processing and downloading everything else.
Haven't you ever been so fraught with new info or stress that you have thought " My brain hurts!"?
I am on the shelf as to whether I would want any part of that sort of machine. I kind of think it would make me feel out of control- and I hate that!!!

It is of course possible in today's generation. I think 90% of the people would use it. But as it is a machine it should also have side-effects, so i'm not going to use it. By the way school is not a machine i think --- but joju said that it is. Whatever --- who cares!!

so far no machine is designed to 'feed' the human brain. but in the future we may be able to so as we do with the computers right now.

It is called school. Too much information, usually unkindly and clumsily transmitted, when you really want to just play.
