As a resident here for the past sixty five years, let me be your weather guide.
This period of time is typically the wet season in LA, although that can mean several things. Rain is likely and can last 2-5 days at a time. Flooding is rare because of the great flood control projects built in the 1930's that still work very well. The temperature in the LA Basin will be in the high 30's to the low 40's at night and reach a high from the mid fifties to the mid seventies during the day. There will be intermittent periods of sunshine and ground fog is normal in the morning hours. I would recommend a light jacket and a raincoat for the early hours and the rest is up to you. Have a great visit!

If you do a google search it will take you to various links where you can check the weather (I think the best one is called something like underground weather). The search will bring up loads though and if you go through you'll find exactly what you are after.

I like what "yes it is me" had to say. I've lived in the Los Angeles area all my life. That was a pretty good summation.
