How did you do it?
Do you still work on it?
I have depression, and always have to work on it.
Anxiety, too, lately.

When my mother died, I thought I was losing my mind slowly. It was then I realized how thin the line is between sane and insane. One day, I made a conscious decision to work on myself mentally. I wanted to think and behave the way I once did. I wanted to care about life again. So I did things that I didn't want to do so that I could get myself back out into life. (If I did what I wanted to do, I would've been in my room, In the dark, with my sheets drawn over my head all day!). Eventually, it worked. But let me tell you, I still have terrible moments. I still work very hard to manage my depression. Especially if I'm stressed. Keep working on it. I think, like any one recovering from something, you'll always have to battle and fight to stay afloat. You can do it. Good luck to you!!
