Set up a puppet Gov to fill their bank accounts for the next 50 years, make and pass several retarded bills that make no real progress towards educating our kids.....when they show up to the hill to vote, and use the "war on terror" to keep us afraid and let them keep the power of "trust us we know what's best for you" mentality going and basically run a government unchecked by it's people.

An excellent question Ms. Stephanie because given the reality of the current political environment, Democrats don't know what a plan is (its form and content) so explaining what a plan is may help them get on track.

A plan is a written and spoken set of measurable goals, strategies, resource requirements, timetables where possible, and descriptions of supporting fact-based information. This last qualifier, fact-based, is what smotes all democratic positions these days and frustrates them.

Space prevents answering specifically each of your 4 topics in your root question. Take education for example. The NCLB plan (No child Left Behind) defined specific performance levels for students, at particular stages in their development, with specific measurement tools, and specific rewards and penalties. A perfect example of a plan? Hardly because despite these key elements, other key things were left ill defined and most school superintendents can't figure out what needs to be done. Therefore, they want government to define even more for them (more government?) to achieve NCLB. The opposite of NCLB is Some Child Left Behind which was the old education plan.

NCLB is a strategic plan because it over arches all other education plans, unifies them, and makes them coherent.

The democrats have no such plan to date. Defining an alternative plan as a contrapositive (meaning you just take the opposite viewpoint on all elements of the first plan) is the standard planning approach used by the Democrats today across the board on virutally any issue.

THERE IS A CLEAR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A "BAD" PLAN AND HAVING NO PLAN AT ALL or simply proposing a contrapositive plan. In the case of several Democratic leaders today, their plan is "undo everything that was done the past 6 years" is, upon scrutiny, not really a plan at all but an emotional tantrum.

I'd be happy to send you the specific Republican plans - be they good or bad plans they are plans none the less - if you are really interested.

Going forward, anytime anyone mentions a plan, use the checklist I defined above to test and see if it really is a plan, or just rhetoric.

Note: one quicky...Getting out of Iraq by a specific date is not a plan, it is a retreat. That kind of Travel Agency thinking is dangerous in all of its forms.

your ignorence is showing.

Education: How is the Bible fairy tales? I would love to hear your proof on that. How is evolution not a fairy tale? How is the big bang true? If school is going to teach a theory of how something is, shouldn't they teach all the possible ones also?

I do blame the demos on one thing, "we are not the other guy". I mean, how can I vote for someone who has no idea what they are going to do, sort of like Clinton. I mean(not really defending him, but stating the difference) with Bush, you knew what you were getting, I mean Kerry was all over the board also.

Iraq:
Keep fighting until the federal government goes bankrupt. Then hand it over to the Democrats and tell them it's their problem.

Health care:
Don't get sick or hurt, silly!

Education:
Replace science with fairy tales.

The war on terror:
Take away as many personal freedoms as they can. God only knows why, but hey, it'll help win the next election because opposition will be silenced and they can keep tabs on the Democrats!
Make as many enemies as they can, and blame everything that goes wrong on the Democrats!

Rep plan: Win.
Dem plan: Lose.
It's as simple as that.
