Yea, as so I've heard. Because there was this woman who used it continuously and next she knew there was something wrong with her. But I think it was minor, but it is still a problem.

And won't you have serious PMS, if you use it continously?

According to my doctor, missing periods is fine. He just advises me to skip every other one "to cleanse the body". He said dyplasia will grow in the uterine lining if the lining is not allowed to be discharged through a period. Dyplasia can lead to cancer. However, I don't think dysplasia could grow and then turn into cancer over that span of time (a year) in a temporary uterine wall that is normally regrown every month. I just think they haven't done enough tests with the Birth Control Pills beyond Seasonale, to know the risks of the dysplasia changing into cancer ... and I wouldn't want to find out the hard way. Talk to your doctor about the maximum that's been tested fine ... and see if you can go with that? Good luck!!

No, you should have at least 2 or 4 periods a year. Seasonalle is no different than other pills except it's marketed to skip periods. You can safely skip your periods using almost any contraceptive brand that works for you.

If you think about it when you are pregnant a woman doesn't have a period for 9 months. So your body by nature was made to miss periods. As everyone else said consult your Dr!!

This is definately something you should discuss with your physician. more often than not, it is not a problem to skip the inactive pills. This is something that really needs to be discussed with your doctor. I dont know if i can stress that enough. without know which oral contraceptive you are taking, i cant give you much more than that.

um the best is to not take the pills. Pills do good for you but too many are not too good.
