will a person have trouble entering the US if they have a Canadian criminal record?

assuming he is travelling on a Brazilian passport, and has been to the US before on visits (has a US visa in the passport valid for 10 years)

Quite possible that you may be refused entry.

Who ever this person you are talking about sounds like they might really have trouble crossing the border. I think there is a 50/50 chance they would get denied entry.

If they find out he's a felon, it's the clink. I wouldn't ry, not in this day.
