hey man, Don here... Well it mainly depends on what ur gonna use it for.. but i think that the acer aspire 3100 is kinda like a all rounder as it has the abilities to perform well in games with the ATi graphics card.. really good inboard built-ins like the bluetooth, memory reader, ect ect ect.... i would say you have the perfect pc in the moment... seriously! untill newer one's come out.. Computer tech keeps upgrading everyday so its hard to heep up but you have a good one at the moment so be happy and enjoy! Don

Sure, I own an aspire and have been very pleased with it straight out of the box... upgrade the memory to the max allowed by the machine, its a good performance boost.

Actually I love the Acer equipment. I like it better than the Dell and HP stuff. Good machine.

They are still a little unknown in the PC/Laptop market, but I haven't heard alot of complaints about them. I'd say they have a solid reputation so far. The only thing I don't like is that their laptops don't have S-Video ports on them.

Offcourse....Acer is one of the best brands.
They make good and respectable laptops.They also r the official sponser of ferrari F1 team--they have relaesed serieas of ferrari laptops which are extreamly good
All i have to say is that the brand is great.
