For example I have 4 addresses similar to bank address. How do I delete the 3 that were incorrect?

use the drop down menu on search high light with the cursor and press delete

There's a great bit of software call ATF Cleaner which enables you to not only delete your internet history but also a bunch of other stuff that you don't need. I use it at least once a week and often daily.
Also, not only does it clean up your system for you it can also help fight against spyware, as it can clean your Window prefetch directory, which some of the more clever spyware programs use to get back door access to your machine.

your first answer is right if you want to delete site address in you search engine on Ur home page. deleting history in Internet op ions will not clear them address but will clear history

I think if you go to the toolbar at the top of your explorer, then go to 'Tools', then to 'Internet Options' and then click 'Clear History' that should do it. But that will clear everything and you wont have your correct one there either. Hope this helps.

right-click on explorer icon on you desktop & go to clear history.
It will clear all your history but at least you will not see others for a while. I think you can configure your cookie settings to not save everything.
