Why don't you understand Hindi?

What's your problem? Many Indians can understand English and if you are thinking about the accented English they speak, it is mostly the North Indians and the people whose race is Indian but they were born elsewhere speak pretty good English. At least it is better because I hardly doubt you can speak any Indian languages.

How about you take a visit to India and see how well you understand their language? This country is a melting pot of languages and cultures and not all ethnic groups understand other ethnic groups' language. How fortunate it is now that the English language is forced on immigrants like it was forced on the natives of this land. Things have changed.

the fact that it is not their native tongue.. i bet they understand, just that some can't speak it fluently.. but i have indian friends who speak english so well..
