Nothing great happens. The patient will no have menopause problems and need not take precautions for birth control. Sex life also can be normal, but due to absence or reduction of hormones the urge and enjoyment may be less and this has to be supplemented by some hormone therapy, which your gynecologist will advise. Much depends on the age and general health of the patient. After the surgery for removal of the above organs you have to take rest and should not lift any weight for atleast 3 months or till clearance is given by the doctor.

One of the side effects is the patient may gin weight after some years, which can be brought to control by diet restrictions and exercises. Otherwise not problem at all.

The first thing you get to do is lay out of work for six weeks. Then you get better and better until you're back to normal. Then you can have sex any time you want to. And you never have another period.
