If your talking about how technology has made life a button touch away, then these days are better. But if you're talking about when there was a time when substance was abundant in more people and in the tasks that were done, then the old days were better. Few things have meaning now a days. And the few that do, fewer people care. In the old days, there may have been less of a lot of things but there was more substance.

This is not a yes or no answer. With progress always comes a downside. Life may have seemed easier and less stressful years ago but there was a lack of medication, schooling was not available to all children, poverty was worse and the list goes on. People who say how much better life was in the old days often forget about how difficult it could be.

I believe in the good old days because there were lots of family members altogether in one city and everyone got along with everyone, and we visited each other often, and being in a group like that also made all the holidays worthwhile and something to look forward to. Of course, if you have parents who were good about supporting you (backing your ideas) then that's something you wish you had all your life. I wouldn't say things are worse, just that everyone matures and makes their own way in life and then it's up to them to (pass the torch so to speak) do the supporting.

I can say that I miss the traditions, the strong morals and strong work ethic as I don't see a lot of that around anymore, or maybe I only saw just good things around me when I was young.

Billy Joel sang, "They say that these are not the best of times, but they're the only times I've ever known." And the Bible says, "There is nothing new under the sun." Times are the same. There have always been evil people and all of the bad stuff, it's just that the information age has made us more aware of it all.

However, the pace of life has gotten a lot faster. Check out the book "Futureshock." It's a philosophical book about how those who will embrace technology will succeed and those who don't will find themselves left behind.

No I don't i would never want to go back to the days when it was just about in your wedding vows that you'd take a good hiding from your husband if and whenever he pleased. You just had to lay there and take it.
When if you didn't sit and do what you where told you could have a taste of his belt instead of your tea.
What good old days they where.
Or may be you had a job that yes was guaranteed for life, but what life, you spent twelve of sixteen hours a day down a pit or-in a cramped and dusty mill, that when you left these jobs you died not long after retirement,if you made it that far.In the good old days your life was over at sixty.
in the good old days you lived and died in missery

Yeah, the sturdy previous days have been the final days of my life. the sturdy days have been the days while i replaced into youthful and have been given away with each little thing. the sturdy previous days have been the days while i replaced into allowed to circulate to events because of the fact my mom and dad weren't scared i might do something incredibly stupid. the sturdy previous days have been the days while i can make a million,000,000 friends because of the fact I wasn't choosy approximately who i know. the sturdy previous days have been the days once I had the main relaxing and the smallest quantity of homework. And the sturdy previous days are the day that I mirror on now and make me smile =D

The good old days were when I was younger, fitter, healthier and had no family and financial responsibilities. Now I have a family, a job in the city and a mortgage - and things are still good. In other words I have good days and bad days - I would never try to generalise my life!

I from the core of my heart believe that saying - 'The good old days'. That is actually one of my fav sayings. Days were obviously better before, in the ancient prehistoric times. But now days the word 'peace' is getting extinct and all r literally stuck in the world of 'frustration'.
