Could anyone suggest a freeware for creating multiple desktops for Windows XP?. This should allow me to segregate desktops according to nature of projects I am working on. I am basically looking for a productivity tool. Thanks in Advance.

You can use Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager (it's free). Go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

And click on Virtual Desktop Manager on the right side of the page.

Are you talking about different desktops on a single computer that are organized according to the project worked on.... well just create a different user id for each project and organize and arrange the desktops to each user id. Go to user accounts in the control panel

The Best you can do here is to initiate "Remote Desktop" or better still download "Terminal server" it is a tool that helps you create different desktops.

thanks
