Sure. I teach college classes, and in the past have been provided with a chalk board to write on - referred to by myself as a 'blackboard'.
I now use a whiteboard. Is that racist too? Or does it only work the other way? Why don't 'political correctness' people grow up and realise that they are complicating the English language to no purpose. What is 'racist' about a colour? Red, green, blue, black, white - just colours in the spectrum! I intend - and never have intended - any racial prejudice whatsoever.
Not even when singing 'Baa baa, black sheep, have you any wool'
Racist? How ridiculous can you get? ....... Maybe farmers should prevent future cries of 'Racist!' by bleaching the poor little things white at birth!

There's a newsclip on right now where a man ( Muslim) called Mtombo of the NBA's Houston Rockets a monkey during the game against the Magics and he's been banned from the arena for one year. He claimed that he didn't know the term was racist and is donating 5,000 dollars to a charity of Mtombos choice as compense.

Lots of times and totally unintentionally. It's very difficult to be politically correct all of the time. These days you cannot say anything to anyone without offending someone.

in all probability. I grew up utilising the be conscious colored for every physique that had any coloration to their pores and skin. Which nevertheless incredibly a lot makes sence to me, considering the fact that i'm so friggin white my pores and skin is nearly sparkling. and that i've got noted as some people ******* and crackers, (and canooks). previously i'm getting bombarded with nasty emails and td's please understand that its usually white Assholes that I even have noted as this, and its in accordance with their character no longer race. Its based on the context of a cracker/****** being a degenerate dick head. Which we've in all races. BTW: I picked this up from my black and different colored acquaintances. a individual of any coloration could be a ****** or a cracker IMHO. I attempt my terrific to be politically splendid yet to be straightforward, political correctness is over rated and almost impossible to over come. i in my view think of everybody is to actual indignant at present by capacity of taking issues out of context. Ex: I artwork with (and care deeply for) mentally retarded people... yet i'm no longer think to call them retarded..... now THAT to me is retarded! they have 'psychological Retardation" as thier respected diagnosis, and yet i'm able to't say it? The be conscious retarded has been deemed as nonacceptable in any context and yet in case you seem it up interior the dictionary it would not propose "a dumb individual" (like many might decide to think of it does); in spite of the indisputable fact that it capacity to be stunted..... it incredibly is what MR (it incredibly is the computing device term we psychological medical doctors now use) is interior the 1st place. there's a reason that the yankee association on psychological Retardation refuses to alter its call... using fact there could desire to be no shame attatched to the call of a real diagnosis. We (AAMR and that i) experience that 'prevalent' people don't experience mushy around retarded people and therefor they mask the problem that the guy is retarded. Its in basic terms stupid that we placed a lot emphasis on individual words and not the context wherein they are pronounced. IMHO words could desire to in basic terms injury while they are pronounced in a derogetory and demeaning way ok carry on the TD's. a minimum of i'm straightforward. *UGh! See- they are going to allow me write asshole yet i'm able to't write n*gg*r!

Yes, but I really didn't mean it and I felt terrible afterwards. I won't even try to transcribe it here because without the benefits of intonation and facial expression, it will seem like I am anti-Semitic, again - I really am NOT anti-anything, I assure you. This gaffe was completely uninentional! I'm lucky I didn't say it to a Jewish person. It taught me to be careful how I phrase things, shall we say. A good lesson to learn!

Yeah, I have. We were talking about the difference between birds at work and started talking about crows, ravens and blackbirds, etc and I said that I couldn't tell the difference because they all looked the same. I felt awful!!
